The Hiebsch family

The Hiebsch's have been faithful clients for many years. So when they heard I was making a trip to Kansas they asked if I could squeeze in a shoot with them. And I'm so glad they did! They are always fun to work with and I don't see how these kids could possibly get any cuter. It's been so fun watching this family grow!

Elliott+Morgan | Married

One thing I love about shooting weddings is getting to see the personalities of so many different couples come through in their special day. These two are country to the core. The wedding took place in a big barn at Elliott's parents ranch. The day was complete with cowboy boots, mason jars and a sunset barn dance.
Congratulations Elliott and Morgan!

The Hiebsch Family

So, for starters, don't look around too closely here today if you please. :)
I'm in the middle of a transition with the look of my blog and website right now and things aren't exactly settled.
I don't consistently have internet access, so it's hard getting everything coordinated.

Here is a sweet family whose faces have become familiar over the years.
I had so much fun shooting their session in January.
It's so awesome watching these kids grow and meeting each new addition. And, honestly, I love it when my subjects are pint-sized cuties who ask me "why, why, why?", want to help carry my equipment and race me to my car. :)

The Wickhams | derby ks portrait photographer

What can I say about a family as wonderful as the Wickhams? They are like my second family. The most welcoming, fun-loving bunch of people I know. I'm pretty sure we did 80% more laughing than picture taking on this shoot. I can't describe how much my life has been impacted by the late night talks, Sergeant Bilko quotes, competitive games of spoons, laughing contests, and just good times I've had at their house. I pretty much love these people.
So thanks, Wickhams, for always filling my tummy with delicious food and letting me crash on your couch, for letting me take your pictures, and most of all thanks for being amazing!
