Warner+Grace | winfield, ks wedding photographer

Ok, I just have to start by saying that I'm sooo excited about this blog post. It's kind of a special one. :)
This one started back in July of 2010 when my sister decided to interview Warner Richardson, who had grown up on the mission field in Kenya, for her newly launched online magazine. Grace and I met Warner at a park one evening and spent a couple hours talking about Warner and his family's ministry in Kenya. And of course Warner knew without a shadow of a doubt that he had found a jewel.

After that he started calling quite frequently to invite Grace to a cookout or volleyball get-together with his friends. But somehow Grace didn't really pick up on his interest in her, though she knew that she respected him and enjoyed his company. So finally in January Warner decided to take matters into his own hands. After receiving Dad's blessing they began their relationship. As time went on it became quite clear that these two were perfect for each other, so Warner popped the question in November and she's been crossing off the days on our calendar ever since.

And - oh happy day - she finally got to cross off the last one on June 30th! It was an absolutely beautiful day. There is nothing more happy than to be surrounded by the joy of hundreds of family and friends on a sweet summer evening celebrating the beginning of a new journey! We laughed and talked and danced far into the night. And it was beautiful.

I cannot take credit for all of the following pictures. Some were taken by the talented Naomi, and some were taken by my good friend and photography mentor Tim Berger.
Enjoy!
