This stellar young man was part of our team that went to Haiti in January.
Before we went he asked if I would be willing to take his senior pictures while we were there.
And of course I said YES!
So on the second day of our visit to the beautiful island of Ile la Vache, the sun came out and we found some sweet spots on the beach for pictures.
I'm going to be completely honest and admit that I was a little jealous.
I mean who gets their senior pictures taken on an exotic Caribbean island?
But then... who gets to be the photographer doing the photo shoot on the exotic Caribbean island?
Hahah, ME!
Yeah.
Be jealous.

The Hiebsch Family

So, for starters, don't look around too closely here today if you please. :)
I'm in the middle of a transition with the look of my blog and website right now and things aren't exactly settled.
I don't consistently have internet access, so it's hard getting everything coordinated.

Here is a sweet family whose faces have become familiar over the years.
I had so much fun shooting their session in January.
It's so awesome watching these kids grow and meeting each new addition. And, honestly, I love it when my subjects are pint-sized cuties who ask me "why, why, why?", want to help carry my equipment and race me to my car. :)

These two got married under a grey October morning sky, in a field, surrounded by close friends and family. And I was honored to be among them. :)

I love shooting weddings of friends because I love seeing my friends find that special someone that makes them the happiest in the whole world. There's no question that these two make each other just that happy. 

Cori and Isaac, you waited patiently and faithfully for each other and God's timing was perfect. May He bless your years together with increasing joy! You guys are just the adorable-est!!!
